Ceramic | Distant Mountain Whisper

SKU:

A poetic echo of faraway peaks and flowing ink.
Artist:Yutao Ma

This ceramic vase is created using the “overglaze painting” technique, also known as new color (xincai)—a method where fine artwork is hand-painted atop the glaze. The piece features a Chinese landscape with pine trees, layered mountains, and mist, rendered with exquisite brushwork in monochrome tones.
With its elegant bottle shape and painterly expression, the work bridges traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern design sensibilities. Ideal for hospitality interiors, cultural venues, and refined display settings, this piece brings timeless artistry and sophistication into contemporary space.
