This group of white marble sculptures is inspired by the shaping power of water—its ability to slowly carve stone through time. The soft, flowing contours etched into the surface evoke the traces left by persistent streams, while the material itself retains the clarity and strength of natural stone.
Titled “Without Contention”, the series draws from the Daoist philosophy that “water benefits all things and does not contend.” Each form embodies quiet vitality, capturing movement within stillness. The sculptures express a spirit of resilience through adaptability, echoing a deeper belief in balanced growth and harmony with nature.
Minimal yet powerful, the works merge natural form, refined craftsmanship, and philosophical depth—offering a contemplative presence that speaks to strength through softness, and transformation through time.
